We are always in the process of adding to our teaching staff. We employ instructors teaching a wide range of subjects in the arts, athletics, and academics to high school and middle school students. Our goal is to expand the day programs' curriculums and offer opportunities that are not otherwise available at school or in the community. LACER students join our free after-school program, their world expands, their proficiency grows, and they graduate.
Part-time instructors work on eight LAUSD campuses where LACER is located across Los Angeles. After a successful interview, and processing (application, TB test, Live Scan fingerprinting, and training) our teaching staff works from August to June each year, every day after school, until 6 pm. We hire a majority of our staff in the summer months before the school year begins and occasionally throughout the school year.
