As we approach Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration, we at L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Programs are once again preparing to honor departed loved ones and celebrate their lives through our beautiful ofrenda that will be showcased at Dia de los Muertos at Hollywood Forever on October 28th, 2023.

At L.A.C.E.R., we understand the profound significance of Dia de los Muertos and the comfort it brings to individuals and families as they remember those who have passed away. It is with this sentiment that we are reaching out to you, seeking your support in the form of a donation in memory of your loved one and a photo to be included in our altar.
The contributions we receive will be used to create a L.A.C.E.R. community altar that truly reflects the spirit and memory of those who are no longer with us. Your donation will support the important work we do at L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Programs. Our organization is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for young minds to learn, grow, and thrive beyond school hours. By participating in our Dia de los Muertos project, you'll be directly impacting the lives of the students we serve while honoring and celebrating the memory of loved ones.
To honor your loved one in our altar, we kindly request the following details to be included with your $25 donation:
The name (and/or nickname) and dates of your loved one to be listed as part of the altar
A photograph of the departed loved one (optional) to be included and featured on our virtual memory wall.
